This policy explains what Chat with Jesus collects, why, and who it is shared with. We keep it short because the app collects very little.

What stays on your device

Your conversations, prayers, saved verses, reading progress and settings are stored locally on your phone. We do not upload them to our servers, and we have no account system — you do not create a login and we do not know your name or email.

What leaves your device

• Chat messages. When you send a message, its text is sent to Groq (our AI provider) to generate the reply. It is used only to produce that reply.
• Crash reports. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics receives the technical details (device model, OS version, the error) so we can fix it.
• Anonymous usage data. Firebase Analytics records which screens are opened and which features are used, in aggregate. It is not tied to your identity.
• Notification token. If you enable reminders, Firebase Cloud Messaging issues an anonymous device token so daily verse notifications can reach you.

What we never collect

No name, no email address, no phone number, no contacts, no location, no photos, no microphone or camera access, and no payment details.

Third parties

Only the services named above: Groq for AI replies and Google Firebase for crash reporting, analytics and notifications. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

Children

The app is suitable for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your control

You can delete every conversation from inside the app, turn reminders off in Settings, and uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
